The Yellow Jackets split a doubleheader with Pfeiffer University in Misenheimer, NC, Thursday.
Pfeiffer scored twice in the bottom of the eighth to take game one 5-4.
In the nightcap Desiree Giffin drove in three runs and Mattie Best contributed four hits as WVSU rallied to win 9-1 in five innings behind a two-hit performance in the circle from Jade Weinkauf.
