Trailing by a single point Thursday night the Yellow Jacket men had opportunities with 10.7, 5.6, and 0.8 seconds remaining but their final attempts would just not fall as WVSU fell to visiting Concord 74-73 Thursday night.

    Corey Bethea led all scorers with 27 points with David Ford adding 15 including a tip in of a missed shot with 30 seconds remaining that pulled the Jackets to within a point.

    Howard Douglas III added 12 points as the Yellow Jackets overcame a 24 percent shooting performance in the first half that left them trailing by nine at the break.
