A quartet of WVSU players hit double figures in scoring and three notched a double-double as the Yellow Jacket women's basketball team rolled to a 72-39 win over Sacred Heart of Puerto Rico Saturday.
Sophomore Asia-Bryanne Greenleaf led the way with 19 points and 12 rebounds with
Chelsey Davis adding 12 points and 13 boards,
Kashauna Cook 10 and 11 and Brittany Blanton 17 points and eight rebounds.
The team wrapped ups its trip with a 59-54 win over Puerto Rico Bayamon Sunday. The won with a balanced attack paced by
Jordan Brock with nine points and eight rebounds.
Maria Femia, Cook, Blanton, Sissy Wagner, and Greenleaf each added eight points as WVSU evened its record at 5-5 on the season.
